|Some creatures are just too tough for bullets.  Even with their ability to get past armor, some things are just too tough in the first place.  This has not stopped some of the more inventive (read Moogle) Gunners from figuring out how to take them down with their preferred brand of destruction.  Instead of firing any solid piece of ammunition, the chamber is instead flooded with mana, sending a bolt of power out at their foe.  Sometimes, this can be done more for the sake of impressing or intimidating one's foes, than damaging them.

|<u>System</u>: Make a skill check of Attunement+[[Ranged]]+Ruin Bullet vs a TN of 24. If succsessful spend 1 MP to treat the standard attack as a White Matk for damage resolution. If the check fails the strike does 50% damage + 5% per four ranks (80% max).
