|Smiths are familiar with fire, in it's myriad forms, and consider it a wary friend as much as their ally in their work.  But because of this closeness, many Smiths can ask Fire to infuse itself into a weapon as it is wielded, so it will burn only those who are struck.

|<u>System</u>: MP Cost: 8 - Roll Intelligence+[[Crafting]]+Flame Soul vs target MDEF.  If successful, friendly target's weapon is imbued with Fire Element for purposes of damage vulnerability for 1+Rank/8 Rounds.  If Smith is casting on self and Wielding a Hammer, that weapon can be thrown at a target using a Strength+[[Melee]]+Flame Soul roll to do Rank Fire Damage.
