|Ice is the opposite of fire.  Ice weakens metal and puts it under stress.  It makes metal scream in protest when it touches it to the core.  Ice is often times the enemy of a good forge and Smith, but some have learned to find a compromise with Ice, cooling their works in the snow, or using it to help etch metal.  Some even go so far as to learn how to coax metal and Ice to work together for a short time to kill that which threatens both.

|<u>System</u>: MP Cost: 8 - Roll Intelligence+[[Crafting]]+Active/Frost Soul vs target MDEF.  If successful, friendly target's weapon is imbued with Ice Element for purposes of damage vulnerability for 1+Rank/8 Rounds.  If Smith is casting on self and Wielding a Hammer, that weapon can be thrown at a target using a Strength+[[Melee]]+Active/Frost Soul roll to do Rank Ice Damage.
