|While Magic is not something that a Smith inherently can understand on their own, many learn the secret of the three basic elements of mana.  With this in mind, a Smith learns how to focus their own energy into a weapon to give it the power of that particular element.  Lightning is not something that is easily mastered, because it is not an element one finds in the Forge.  But watching the sparks fly from every blow of the hammer, and feeling the thunder of the blow of metal on metal can inspire a Smith to imbue the storm into the blows of a weapon.

|<u>System</u>: MP Cost: 8 - Roll Intelligence+[[Crafting]]+Active/Thunder Soul vs target MDEF.  If successful, friendly target's weapon is imbued with Lightning Element for purposes of damage vulnerability for 1+Rank/8 Rounds.  If Smith is casting on self and Wielding a Hammer, that weapon can be thrown at a target using a Strength+[[Melee]]+Active/Thunder Soul roll to do Rank Lightning Damage.
