&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;The initial testing of the &amp;quot;Basic Combat&amp;quot; code has begun! Keep in mind that it&amp;#039;s rather manual for now and certain parts of &amp;quot;Full Combat&amp;quot; are missing from &amp;quot;Basic Combat&amp;quot; and are thus unavailable for this test. Most of what is down here will be automated and presented in a better fashion by the time &amp;quot;Full Combat&amp;quot; has been achieved. The steps to begin testing combat that follow are as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 1. Generate a character by typing &amp;quot;+chargen&amp;quot;. If you already have one, you can either go with it, or type, &amp;quot;+chargen reset&amp;quot; to start over.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 2. Activate combat and equip your character by typing &amp;quot;+equip&amp;quot; to enter the menu, then &amp;quot;E&amp;quot; to enable combat, and then going through the menu prompts to equip items and set your combat defaults.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 3. For the time being there is no turn order mechanic, so determine turn order however you&amp;#039;d like.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 4. The person who&amp;#039;s turn it is will use the &amp;quot;+attack&amp;quot; command as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  +attack&lt;br /&gt;
      This will attack using the default attack from the weapon in the default slot..&lt;br /&gt;
  +attack =attackname&lt;br /&gt;
      This will attack using the &amp;quot;attackname&amp;quot; attack from the weapon in the default slot.&lt;br /&gt;
  +attack weaponslot&lt;br /&gt;
      This will attack using the default attack from the weapon in the &amp;quot;weaponslot&amp;quot; slot.&lt;br /&gt;
  +attack weaponslot=attackname&lt;br /&gt;
      This will attack using the &amp;quot;attackname&amp;quot; attack from the weapon in the &amp;quot;weaponslot&amp;quot; slot.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  Valid weapon slots currently are &amp;quot;Left Hand&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;Right Hand&amp;quot; but will answer to typing any of the following:&lt;br /&gt;
    left hand, left arm, left, l, lhand, larm, hand l, arm l, hand_l, arm_l&lt;br /&gt;
    right hand, right arm, right, r, rhand, rarm, hand r, arm r, hand_r, arm_r&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  Valid attacks sorted by weapon shall be detailed in another post.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  The &amp;quot;+attack&amp;quot; command will output a damage amount and a roll, note these two values down.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 5. The person who is defending will use the &amp;quot;+defend&amp;quot; command as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  +defend&lt;br /&gt;
    This will defend using the default defense.&lt;br /&gt;
  +defend defensename&lt;br /&gt;
    This will defend using the &amp;quot;defensename&amp;quot; defense.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  Valid defenses are as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
    Dodge: Sidestep the attack.&lt;br /&gt;
    Parry: Deflect the attack.&lt;br /&gt;
    Block: Stop the attack.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  The &amp;quot;+defend&amp;quot; command will output a soak percent and a roll, note these two values down.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 6. The person who is defending should take the four above values and enter them into the &amp;quot;+calc&amp;quot; command as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  +calc damage attack soak defense&lt;br /&gt;
    Calculates if the attack hits and how much damage if it did.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 7. The defender should then use the &amp;quot;+hp&amp;quot; command as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  +hp damage&lt;br /&gt;
    Take &amp;quot;damage&amp;quot; damage points.&lt;br /&gt;
  +hp -damage&lt;br /&gt;
    Take &amp;quot;damage&amp;quot; damage points.&lt;br /&gt;
  +hp +healing&lt;br /&gt;
    Recieve &amp;quot;healing&amp;quot; heal points.&lt;br /&gt;
  +hp =hitpoints&lt;br /&gt;
    Set your HP to &amp;quot;hitpoints&amp;quot;.&lt;br /&gt;
  +hp reset&lt;br /&gt;
    Set your HP to full.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
  The &amp;quot;+hp&amp;quot; command will notify you if you died.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 8. Perform poses and other RP related things.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Step 9. Change to the next person&amp;#039;s turn and start over at step 4 until everyone but the last person left decides to flee or dies.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
