+|White Mages draw from the spirits of hope around themselves, but also from the belief in a greater goodness in all.  Many do not believe in a greater power, especially with such beings like Espers and Lucavi to contend with, but a trained White Mage can call out into the world... to the divine... to the spirit of the planet... to whatever they might personally believe in to help refresh their allies.  This is not meant to do any harm, but rather to help allies in struggle while conserving one's own power for more critical needs.
