The first lesson of the arena is pain. To accept, to embrace it, to use it to drive a warrior onward to victory. Pain is countered by Will, and Will only comes from certainty. This is why there are only two kinds of Gladiators. Victorious... and Dead.
System: If the character has been successfully hit, roll (Stamina+Fortitude+Reactive/Shake It Off), TN 20. If successful, reduce damage by (Rank*2%), applied separately after damage is modified by DEF.
