When the Folly unleashed devastation upon the the world, many cultures adapted to new ways of doing things, better to survive than cling to outmoded ways of thinking.
And some clung stubbornly to the past, and survived despite themselves.
Groat was born into one such a village, a Mithra village that he tries hard to forget. Having escaped in the dark of night, the male Mithra has found better things in the city of Emberstrand.
