|The direct application of an ointment to a wound can help restore that spot to health with alacrity, but properly infused reagents may also be able to put other healing agents into the blood that will help relieve conditions that one might be suffering from.  While not as powerful as potions or other sold items, these sometimes can do more to help the battlefield injured and stave off disease, poison and other maladies while assisting in getting one back to his feet.
