| Since many potions and ointments are pre-purchased from shops, and made in large batches, they can often come with small imperfections or inconsistencies in the mix. A proper Chemist can take that basic potion, filter out the things not needed, and make it more effective. Yes, it might not taste so good, but many of those in this profession will be more likely to be concerned about effectiveness over palatability. |
