| The second lesson of the Red Mage is that the power needed to cast is fluid, and can be adjusted with a little preparation. A spell can be just as flashy and just as dangerous without needing to be at it’s full strength. If nothing else, it will still look just as good. |
| System: Spend a turn to provide a (20% +5% per 4 ranks) decrease in MP cost, at the cost of an (80% - 5% per 4 ranks) penalty to damage. |
