To become an Elementalist, one must first befriend nature itself. And being a friend with nature gives one certain benefits. When being charged by a foe, the Elementalist can ask the Earth to try and stop them. The Earth might not be able to stop their friend from being struck, but it certain can keep them held long enough for their friend to beat a hasty retreat. |
