Valigarmanda

The rainbow dragon Valigarmanda is said to bring hope whenever he swoops down from the skies. Feathers and scales shimmer red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet in the light. A tuft of iridescent fur tips the end of his twitching serpentine tail, a long tongue flicks from a beak-like mouth and battle-hardened eyes peer from beneath an ancient bronze helmet.
Valigarmanda is one of the great dragons, master of Fire, ice and Lightning, his potent breath attack utilises all of these elements to devastating effect. He is also known as the dragon of light, the dragon of hope and it is said whenever a rainbow appears it is indicative of his passing. He dwells within a nest near the pinnacle of Dragon Mount, one of the hardest journeys to reach for it is said within his home lies all the hope of the world. He welcomes those who reach his dwelling however and is willing to discuss pacts and offer aid in the quests and trials of those who come before him.
