Cagnazzo
Cagnazzo is the elemental fiend of water standing in opposition of all that is true and great about the element of water. Once he was just a simple water spirit, guardian of a pool and waterfall upon the surface of Terra. When Ultima's wars broke out and surged across the land Cagnazzo fond their home corrupted, an accident or miscommunication saw Cagnazzo's plea for help lost in the turmoil and upheaval claiming the land that was until Ultima came to them. Seeing a chance for mischief she lied, she cajoled and showed Cagnazzo how it was the pride of man and the arrogance of the gods who had led to this sorry state of affairs.
Using their power Ultima infused Cagnazzo with a hatred of what once he protected, his mission became that of misery, of despair, to spread the dank dark corrupted waters to all. So that all would suffer as he had suffered and none would be spared. At Ultima's side he was unstopable, a form once fair and gracious transmuted to that of a ferocious and terrifying turtle a demon who tainted the water of those who tried to stand against the army of Ultima so sieges would fall with ease. What began as revenge led to darker acts which doomed Cagnazzo beyong recovery, twisting them, destroying them until they truly where the fiend Ultima had hoped for. In the end Cagnazzo's pride saw to their fall when they attempted to pollute the ocean, their power was tied up by the constant war of the waves and rage of Leviathan and in the end the might of the Lord of Oceans cast them down and sealed them within the Amethyst Nethicite. Water being their element and the corruption of their demonic presence risking any water it was left within Lord Leviathan with wisdom and grace gave Cagnazzo's prison into the keeping of Ifrit where in the infernus of fire and flame they cannot corrupt and thus their presence upon the world is less.
