Zeromus
Partner to Mateus the Condemner stood as her chief lieutenant in the fight to uphold the law, he too over time lost his way and fell coming to see all things as in opposition to law and order none could pass muster and all where judged guilty. His only sentence was death and thus did he walk the world condemning not just that which lived by the earth and spirits themselves. Plunging countless millions into darkness and death. He led the armies of ultima on many a raid across the lands of Terra his name was feared by all, he is most famously known for casting the city of Jarmina into darkness, in one night the city fell and was judged guilty and despatched, some say it can never be found, even the realm of the Lost City no longer recalls the splendour of Jarmina of the Crystal Towers.
His capture was orchestrated by the spirits of life, a trap was set, a great mountain was raised in defiance of the law, standing tall and proud, in anger Zeromus descended upon this mountain in rage and anger. striking out he invaded the very depths determined to confront those spirits who had dared defy the law and banish them from the world. Within the heart of the mountain however he found a chamber of pearl, the walls reflecting rainbow light as the artfully crafted spell deflected the light from outside. Trapped in a place of perpetual light Zeromus could not bring his darkness or his judgement into power and thus was he entrapped within the pearl nethicite, forever bathed in never dying light in the depths of the Infernus where Ifrit keeps vigilant watch over the Condemner
