| Battle takes a life of it’s own right before anyone’s eyes, and a smart caster knows that there are moments when speed will be more important than power. A Red mage understands that there is a basic commonality in all spellcraft, and by putting those basics in his or her mind before casting, any spell can be thrown out with a word and a gesture. |
| System: Spend a turn to provide a (20% +5% per 4 ranks) decrease in casting time, at the cost of an (80% - 5% per 4 ranks) penalty to the spell’s To-Hit roll. |
