Arcanum

Arcanum is a word to mean deep magical wisdom or lore. For the Red, this deep wisdom is an understanding of how their own skills work in conjunction with their magic.  On preparing to change the formulae of spells, often times if they already have their intent locked in mind, it means that can immediately begin to cast.  This discipline is not always successful, but for a good, albiet somewhat lucky, Red Mage, it can mean the difference between letting the enemy get a few good hits in, or being able to loose a spell in time to make it count.

System: When Overcharge, Efficiency, Quickcast, or Spell Focus are used, Roll Acuity+Arcana+Reactive/Arcanum vs 24.  If successful, the character goes into a [Quick] Status limited only to casting spells included in the [Red Magic] Category.
