Countercast

A hard thing to learn, and not always sucessfull in it's application, a good mage when struck with an offensive spell can occasionally catch and reflect the mana used against them into a counterforce on the casting foe. Because it is a trained instinct, the spells used are often polar to the spells that have damaged them, but this often means an ability to hurt certain beings moreso than normal.

System: When stuck by an elemental spell that inflicts hp loss have a chance to counter attack with a basic spell of the opposing element. Every two points in this ability increases the percent chance (12% max) of the ability going off. If activated, you must have the relevant magic slotted and available for normal use to be able to cast as a Reaction.
