Rend Magic

| Tactics means understanding not only how to attack, but where and when to attack as well. A flat blow will often times stun or disrupt a magic-users ability to focus themselves easily, thus rendering not only their damaging, but healing and supportive magics to be lessened for a short time. With enough, their magic might become so weak as to force them to use other means of defense, or possibly to surrender. |
| System: By forgoing doing physical damage a squire may make a check of Acuity+Melee+Active/Rend Magic, which may be defended as normal, and inflict a penalty to magical attack rolls and damage rolls of -1 per 4 ranks in this ability for 1 turn + 1 per 8 ranks. |
