This is a trick that cannot be done easily with arrows due to their size, can be done with a simple sling bullet, or in this case, a mana-powered slug. With the right aim and angle, a Gunner can bounce his shot so that he not only strikes one foe, but potentially hits a second. Most question how useful this might be, until they see a Gunner ricochet their shot off the enemy's fighter, and strike the mage that was next to him in cover.
