Mute Strike

When one becomes the master of their own voice, one also learns how to make someone else's suffer.  A swift jab to the throat can constrain one from speaking, singing, or even incanting spells.  It's a sad thing to hear a bard with sore vocal chords, and even sadder to hear one that will never sing a pure note again.

System: Treat Melee attacks as MATK for damage resolution, and on a successful hit, roll Acuity+Animus+Support/Mute Strike versus Resilience+Resistance. If roll succeeds, place target under [Mute] status for rank/8 rounds. This attack cannot stack with similar abilities (ex. Poison Blow)
