Rend Attack

| Tactics means understanding not only how to attack, but where and when to attack as well. A well-placed strike to an opponent's weapon-arm will temporarily weaken their ability to strike with maximum force, which to some seems pointless in comparison to actually harming their target, but for the Squire, a man who cannot attack is sometimes one who can be reasoned with. |
| System: By forgoing doing physical damage a squire may make a check of Insight+Melee+Active/Rend Attack, which may be defended as normal, and inflict a penalty to physical attack rolls and damage rolls of -1 per 4 ranks in this ability for 1 turn + 1 per 8 ranks. |
