The Dauntless

The Dauntless is light destroyer-class Dalmascan Airship dating back to before Larson's Folly. The vessel was found abandoned by the Revelgizz goblin clan in the mountains they called home and was stripped and refitted to act as a colony ship to save the clan from total annihilation from ever-increasing fiend attacks. The ship was captained by the clan leader and passed from father to son until it eventually came under the command of Nitro Revelgizz who still acts as it's standing captain and owner. The goblins that dwelled on the ship have either been killed in attacks, old age, or have left the ship to resume life on the ground leaving the vessel to be manned by a rather rag-tag group of various races.

The Dauntless has certainly seen better days, many of it's systems are worn and have been patched and Jury-rigged over the years. The power to keep it aloft coming from a variety of sources from Sunstones to nethercite to conventional steam-generated electricity. The lower portions of the aft decks having been converted into a set of large boilers powered by magical fire or conventional fuels (Coal, Wood, oil) as the need arises. It's weaponry is as varied, from magitech cannons to black-powder cannons to ballista dot the deck and protrude from ports in the patched and reinforced hull. The Dauntless will fly as long as it's captain can keep it in the air, no matter what it takes.
