Once thought merely a legend connected to death and the resurrection of the soul, Pyreflies are shown to be real, and in the hands of one who understands the power of the spirits, can be either beneficial or deadly to any foe who they come close to.

System: Spend an action and make a skill check, summon one Pyrefly + 1 per 8 ranks (4 Pyreflies maximum). Each Pyrefly summoned has HP equal to its Summoning Check, and once summoned can be ordered to act in offensive or defensive capacities.

Defensively, a Pyrefly may stand in the way of any incoming attack, sacrificing itself to negate incoming damage up to its HP total, though never negating it entirely; 1 HP, minimum, will always go through.

Offensively, a Pyrefly may be commanded to sacrifice itself to attack a single target, dealing White-Element damage equal to its HP.

No matter whether used offensively or defensively, only one Pyrefly may be commanded by the Summoner per round, and the Summoner can only control as many Pyreflies as he may summon in one round; if a Summoner has 24 ranks in this skill, and has expended three of his four Pyreflies, and calls more, he will only have four Pyreflies to command in the next round.
